Chihuahua Unleashed Against #ArtsRevolutionaries2024 To Queel NAC Fires

Read Time:4 Minute, 51 Second

FIRE..! FIRE..!

Maye mna! Batjho, no evil formed against amaqabane of #ArtsRevolutionaries2024 shall prosper. In sooth, kuthiwa ama-andapan anezimbobo and the blue-magumede’s of some liars are on Fire..!   Jesu!!! O! Great spirits of the noble arts…, Fire them, heartless thieves, into the inferno of nearest hell. Makhosiiii!

Once more, the wheel spins fast around the shenanigans of the National Arts Council (NAC). Some scandalous stories come thick and fast despite attempts to muzzle, drown and lobby #ArtsRevolutionaries2024 movement members to sell out. Countless individuals are said to be now seeing the light. Hence the Standing Up For Their Rights. A call, thus, from the beyond by Miriam Makeba gets responded to positively. In numbers…, Ehe! The creatives dem dey chant…,

Aluta Continua! Aluta Continua, Aah! Continua

Bakwethu, fellow ThiVi Networkers, kuthiwa soon enough kukhona abazoz’thola becula eka Yvonne Chaka Chaka, yona ethi…I got caught breaking the law. The real deal is upon the arts and creative sector space. Above all, the NAC faces charges of stabbing the hearts of many creatives, fiddling with and fingering their spiritual sanity…,

Consequently, in the back, South African law enforcement agencies are doing what the FBI did to root out corrupt and heartless criminal elements in the early days of Hollywood. In South Africa, such selfish types pose a national security threat by fanning fires of gloom and anger. Additionally, they continue to water the fields of poverty and unemployment among victims of apartheid and colonialism. Those are creative souls that could gain economic liberation through their natural gift of art and creativity. But the evil spirits abound in higher echelons of the arts and creative sector administration. Yes, the kind of ego to possess African chiefs that betrayed their own into slavery.

Meet The Survivor Of Threats, Bribery, Bullying And Attempted Murder

Therefore, the #ArtsRevolutionaries2024 swear never to get deterred. Not even by a message meant to intimidate, sent by a NAC Council member to one of the #ArtsRevolutionaries2024. The Whatsapp dispatch was by mistake, apparently, and reads…, “Chair, can we send these people a lawyer’s letter.” Confronted to identify “these people,” the Council member alleges to have meant the message for another person he is doing a little something-something with on the side and not a certain ArtsRevolutionary.

It Shall Not Rain But Pour For The NAC

The police siren echoes. Batjho ikhwelakhwela gets headed to the NAC in Newtown. In the background, the superior arm of the law is fast gathering evidence around several criminal cases involving the NAC. A fly attached to the wall says the small-time thieves (acting big) in the arts and creative sector must come out and confess their wayward ways before it is too late.  So, over the weekend, the Hawks interviewed two key witnesses with intimate knowledge of the Artists’ Millions heist at the NAC. This week the ingalo yomthetho is set to interrogate a few more key witnesses.

The Squanderer Of Millions Of Artists’ Money Put Under Surveillance

Tip-Off To Those That Know Of Wrong Doing At NAC

Pss!! To you golden handshake recipients and mvala mlomo acceptors. It is time to cut a deal with law enforcement agencies. That is because the concealment of criminality is a criminal offence in itself. Whether there is an agreement or not that stipulates…, “The employee undertakes that she (he) will not divulge circumstances surrounding the termination of the employee’s employment, the discussions leading up to it, including but not limited to the amounts paid to the employee.”  Kanti kuyini, na, bantu. Khese nitjho, jong, kufihlwa kufihlwani, especially where public funds (Artists’ Money) are involved?

More Pressure On The Cards For The NAC

Meanwhile, mobilising around #ArtsRevolutionaries2024, the Gauteng branch of the Creative and Cultural Industries Federation of South Africa is petitioning the police to open a case. The stage got set for Tuesday, 13 September 2022, at 11 am sharp at Johannesburg Central Police Station. Charges to be laid against the NAC involve fraud, money laundering, and maladministration. Do remember there is also the issue of the former interim NAC CEO, Marion Mbina Mthembu, reporting the NAC at the Public Protectors office and the public service commission for wasteful expenditure, among others.

What’s Going In Mzansi TV Industry?

The Oracles say…,  ‘I can tell you right now. A couple of demands shall soon get dropped at the door of the NAC.’ Remember, on 2 September, the chairperson of NAC told the portfolio committee that an advert for the post of NAC CEO will get advertised. Since Dlamini says the current NAC is about transparency, then as the #ArtsRevolutionaries2024, we demand the CEO interviews should get done publicly. We want to know who the candidates are. That is because any dividual appointed in that top post should be for the arts and not some cabal looting scheme of a few on the board. In fact, we are pondering why not go further and say, political parties must form part of the interviewing panel with HR people at NAC.’

There Is An #CCRDay_13September In The Making

The word is, there is no giving up the fight for the artists and creatives to earn a good living wage in a conducive and thriving environment. No retreat. No surrender. Steve Biko’s Consciousness and the fighting spirit of Chris Hani are upon the arts and creative sector. What gets done is for the sake of artists in general. But most of all, it is for a better future for the youth in the creative, arts and cultural sectors. Therefore, loading is the launch of the #CreativeCitizens’RightsDay_13September
